My 2022 Rolling Project Pan June Update

Hard to believe, but we’re only one update away from being halfway through this project. Last month, I managed to roll two new items in after using them up completely, and I’m starting to think there might be a few more in the coming months - anyway, here’s my June update.

Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued

I think this picture speaks for itself. I still really like this brow pencil and probably would have considered buying again in the future if Superdrug hadn’t gotten rid of their B. range (don’t know what happened there). But I suppose that’s the fun of makeup - trying something new. It still weighs 8.6g.

NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued

Looking back at the mark I made when I first started this project; I can now say I’m almost halfway through, which I am glad about, to be honest. As nice as it is, I do have a similar colour in my stash, and when you own 21 others, it would be nice to have at least one done this year! It still weighs 4.4g.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - £12

Progress again with this eye pencil. I’m currently using this about 4/5 times a month - not bad considering how often I’m wearing makeup, but I really think I may have overestimated my ability to use it up within the year. I’ve slowly come to realise that this is just a case of seeing how far I can get. I have another one of these in my stash, so at the end of the year, I can compare the two pretty well. It still weighs 5.5g.

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Contour

No new tally mark this month, but I wasn’t expecting one. I swear I have been using this so much, practically every time I do my makeup and yet it doesn’t seem to be going down. I guess that means it’s good value for money (which is a good thing because the highlighter in the set with this was rubbish!), so I’m gonna keep going and hopefully, it will be at least close to finishing by the end of the year. It still weighs 25.1g.

Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist Mini - £8.00

The mister on this setting spray is already starting to go a bit wonky - never a good sign - but I do like how well this fixes my makeup in place. So it’s a thumbs up for the formula but a firm thumbs down for the packaging. Hopefully, it won’t get any worse, and I can finish it up. It now weighs 46.7g, so I used 5.5g this month.

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95

After no tally mark last month, there’s a nice big new update this time. This has been my exclusive powder for the past few months, and the progress is starting to show, especially since I’m only really setting my t-zone and under eyes. It currently weighs 46.4g, so I have used 1.7g this month.

e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00

This primer is almost 100% the same as the Milk Makeup one and at a fraction of the price. I’ve noticed no real difference in changing over to this one, and I’m enjoying using it a lot. It now weighs 48.1g, so I’ve used 0.9g this month.

Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95

Still looks exactly the same. I’m not at the point of hate panning this yet, but I am getting a little bit fed up with the lack of progress. The pattern is slowly fading, and I could potentially see myself hitting pan on this before the end of the year, but it’s very slow going. It still weighs 6.3g.

e.l.f Contouring Blush and Bronzer Palette St Lucia Project Pan June Update

E.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder “St Lucia” - £5

Still no pan, but the blusher side is looking much more loved. It’s hard to tell from the overhead pictures, but the dip in the pans is so big now, it can’t be far away from the bottom. I’ve actually taken some side pictures, which I’ll post below. It now weighs 69.9g, so I’ve used 0.2g this month.

NYX Lip Lingerie - French Maid - £7.00

Been using this an absolute ton this month, and there is now a little window in the packaging, so I’m feeling pretty good about my usage. There is no way in heck that I will be using this up any time soon, but knowing that it’s been well used would be a nice idea. It now weighs 24.1g, so I’ve used 0.2g this month.

Goals For Next Month

Hit pan? Probably not, but a nice amount of progress would be great. This project was always more about focusing on things I would like to get use out of rather than necessarily finishing everything, and at one month from halfway to have two already finished is pretty great.
