I’m running super, super behind on these updates! I’d like to say I have some great reason or excuse for it, but honestly, I’ve just been lazy. I’m gonna try not to waffle on too much in this post, so maybe I can get it out there quicker and by this time next month, I might just be up to date. Anyway, here is my June update.

e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00

Still slow, but some nice, steady progress on this primer. I’m probably getting ahead of myself, but I can see this being finished in the next few months. Spending over a year on one primer has been pretty wild, and I think my next choice will be a mini or half size just to feel some better accomplishment. It now weighs 29.8g, so I’ve used 1.9g this month.

e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter - Shade 1 - £14.00

And next, we have this all-around multi-use product. I went to Eurovision this month, and I needed my foundation to hold up really well - I ended up using my Fenty one - but it can be drying, so I mixed it with a bit of this, and it was amazing. Don’t know how far I’ll get with this by the end of the year, but I’m hoping it looks well-loved. It now weighs 129.1g, so I’ve used 1.2g this month.

Barry M Fresh Face Foundation - £7.99

As I said with the halo glow filter, I’ve been using other foundations this month, so my Barry M skin tint has kind of been put on the back burner. I’ve still used it a few times, and there is a little bit of progress, but not anything I would call significant. It now weighs 28.6g, so I’ve used 0.7g this month.

e.l.f Hydrating Camo Concealer - Fair Rose - £6.00

No new mark this month, but I do think the tube looks a little bit emptier up at the top. It’s still not my favourite concealer in the world, and I will be absolutely delighted when this is gone. It now weighs 28.3g, so I’ve used 0.2g this month.

Uoma By Sharon C Flawless IRL Bronzer “Shady” - £8.50

I hit pan on the cream bronzer! It took five months of consistent use, but I managed to hit my goal, and I am now ready to roll it out of the project - HOWEVER, I will keep it in for one more month just so I can wait until the halfway point in the year to have a little refresh of items. It now weighs 45.3g, so I’ve used 0.2g this month.

17. Perfect Finish Translucent Powder - £3.50

Second month with this powder, and I still love it. I wouldn’t call this the most long-lasting powder (Lottie London was better for that), but it is really undetectable on the skin and does leave a great luminous finish. It wouldn’t be a product I’d use if I wanted my makeup to last all day, but for a few hours, it does a good job. It now weighs 37g, so I’ve used 1g this month.

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer - £14.99

I find all bronzers pretty boring, so the fact that I’m still loving this one means it must be pretty good. At the rate I use bronzers, this is still going to take me about five years - which is a good thing if it stops me from buying any more! It now weighs 62.5g, so I’ve used 0.3g this month

Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.99

I hit pan!!! Can you believe it? I actually hit pan in this pigging highlighter!! It might have taken me seventeen months and countless uses, but I have finally reached my target with this thing, like the cream bronzer; I’m going to keep it in for another month before having a mini refresh at the start of July. Unfortunately, it still weighs 5.8g.

Iconic London Prep-Set-Glow Setting Spray “Original” - £24.00

I took this picture at a really bad angle, but hopefully, you can see how much I’ve used this month. I wouldn’t say this is the best setting spray; it adds a lovely glow but doesn’t prolong my makeup in any way. At the price of this, I’m practically at the cost of Urban Decay’s All Nighter, and I’d probably just recommend that in future. It now weighs 140.5g, and I’ve used 7.7g this month - which is awesome!

Tarte H2o Gloss Lip Gloss “Hang Ten” Mini - £6.66

So much windowing happening in this mini lipgloss now that I’m starting to feel hopeful for a finishing line to be in sight. It could maybe be just a few more months until I’m able to call this one done and add a whole new empty to this year’s list. It now weighs 10.9g.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Powder Foundation - F1 - £8.00

So, so impressed with my progress when I look at this comparison picture. As this was just something I naturally gravitated towards, I have no trouble using this a good few times a month, so I can see this making good, steady progress up until the end of the year - it might even be finished by the start of 2024! It now weighs 78.4g, so I’ve used 0.2g this month.

Goals for next month:

I’m not expecting anything extraordinary to happen between now and the start of July, but as it’s my last month before a half-year refresh, I’d like to see the pans expanding on the cream bronzer and highlighter before I swap them for something else.

Sophie x
