Pan That Palette Challenge – August 2019
It’s time for round 2. Hard to believe, but it’s alread been two months since I started my Pan That Palette Challenge. If you’re not caught up then you can find that post here.
It might have been two months, but I’m warning you now, my progress has been SLOW! Recent crazy warm weather has left me not wanting to wear makeup (or go outside!). I haven’t included updates on products I haven’t used at all (like the Revolution eye palette), but they will be included next time I’m sure.

Revolution Fast Base Foundation
This foundation doesn’t cost the earth and is as its name suggests, Fast. The foundation however, is really not great in the hot weather. As soon as you start to sweat, it breaks up – especially around the forehead and nose.
In the U.K. July heatwave, I was definitely reaching for a more lightweight BB cream – it also had SPF 30.
I’m pleased that I made any progress in the past two months. Even if it is just under half a centimetre gone.

Revolution Fast Base Concealer – C0.5
A lot more progress here. This is a fantastic light concealer and actually works well in hot weather. The more I use this, the more I don’t feel like I’d buy it again. Conceal and Define is only £1 more for practically double the amount.

Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer – C0.5
Speaking of Conceal and Define, I’ve been using this mainly for priming my eyes and cut creases. I did use this instead of foundation once, with disastrous results. Hard to tell how much I’ve used just yet, this type of packaging can look full when it’s practically empty.

Revolution Fast Base Concealer – C14
Very little movement here. I use this just for contouring/bronzing and you need a very light hand. Like I said last time, this one is going to take FOREVER!
August 2019
Primark PS. Rice Powder
If you look closely, you can see the pattern of the pan underneath starting to show. I’m still really liking this powder, and I kinda wish Primark still made it (although I have a few others in my stash to try yet!)
My challenge over the next two months is to finally hit pan! It might be doable.

The Body Shop Face Contouring Palette
I’m glad I called this a Challenge, because it really is! Even with regular use, this product still look barely used since last time. A testament to how pigmented it is, but still not very satisfying in this instance. The bronzer shade is certainly looking the most used.
August 2019
Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette
Biggest update on this – I lost the brush! Not a big loss as I never used it anyway. The bottom right shade is looking marginally more used, but overall I would say this palette is still going strong. I’m not too mad – it is very pretty!
August 2019
MUA Colour Burst Palette
Been feeling summery recently and the orange and yellow shades in this palette have been my go to. Not too much progress but this was a new palette when I begun (just swatched), so it might take a while.

Barry M. Holographic Lip Topper – Spellbound
And lastly we have this beautiful little lip gloss. From being practically full, you can now see the wand inside the packaging. I’ll admit I got a little bit excited when I noticed that. At this rate, it might be finished by the end of the year!
And that’s it. I honestly didn’t think doing something like this could be so addictive – but I’m hooked. My Challenge for the next two months is to definitely hit pan in at least one product – and hopefully finish the foundation stick.
