My 2023 Rolling Project Pan - March Update
The second update of the year and I am pleased to say that we have three products so near to finishing its almost frustrating. March is definitely the month of good progress, I’m just hoping that April is the month of finishing!
Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued
This eyebrow pencil is now unbelievably close to being done. I’m actually a little bit disappointed it’s not all gone because looking at it, there’s only a couple of uses left. It will be good to finally say goodbye to it in April - I might even start using a brow maker instead. It still weighs 8.6g.
e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00
Once again, slow and steady progress with this primer. How many more months this will still be around, I have no idea, but I’ll enjoy it while it is and be really satisfied to see another primer gone. It now weighs 35.9g, so I used 1.4g this month.
e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter - Shade 1 - £14.00
Another slow and steady item is this e.l.f liquid filter. I keep all my project pan items in little drawstring bag, and in recent weeks when I’ve pulled this out I’ve been able to see a little bit of windowing in the top of the bottle. As soon as I pull the doe foot out it’s gone again, but I’m taking this as a good sign and hopefully it won’t be long until it’s always visible. It now weighs 133.2g, and I’ve used 1.1g this month.
Barry M Fresh Face Foundation - £7.99
I think the pictures look exactly the same, but I have been using this really consistently. I can still see this taking a good proportion of the year to be gone, but I’ll enjoy it in the mean time. It now weighs 30.7g, so I’ve used 0.6g this month, not as much as I’d of liked, it if I can do the same each month, it won’t be too long.
e.l.f Hydrating Camo Concealer - Fair Rose - £6.00
You can’t really see it on the picture, but when this concealer settles properly, it’s actually starting to look pretty empty. There’s no way this will be done in the next few months, but I’m now starting to believe that it will be finished in this project. It now weighs 29.4g, so I’ve used 0.2g this month.
Uoma By Sharon C Flawless IRL Bronzer “Shady” - £8.50
Nice big dip forming in this pan. I don’t want to tempt fate, but I’m starting to believe that I can hit pan in this little bronzer before the mid way point of the year. Theses only 3g of product in here and I’m not planning on finishing it in this project. It now weighs 46.1g, and I’ve used 0.2g this year
Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95
Last little bit of powder in this pot and it will be completely finished. I’ve been having to resist the urge to rush and buy another one straight away. I have plenty of other powders in my collection and I’m sure I’ll like one of them just as much as this. In the meantime it now weighs 37.2g, and I’ve used 0.8g this month.
Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer - £14.99
The pattern is slowly starting to wear away and I think the issue with any hard panning has finally been fixed (I don’t know how!), and I’m still not 100% in love with this bronzer. It’s fine, and I really don’t mind using it, but I suppose I just expected more from something that cost £15. In future, I’d probably buy e.l.f or pay a bit extra for a more premium brand. It now weighs 63.4g, using 0.1g this month - at that rate I won’t need to buy a new one for 10 years!
Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.99
Happy to see that the bit of different texture in the middle of the pan is now expanding on this highlighter. It’s taking way too long to reach that pan, but at least it’s starting to look different. I’m guessing it will happen by my June update, but I’ve been wrong before. It now weighs 5.9g, and I’ve used 0.1g this month.
NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued
This will be done by my April update. I have no doubt in my mind that I can push to get this last tiny bit of lip liner gone before the month is through. I’ve really enjoyed using this over the past fourteen months, but I’ll be pleased to dig into some of the unloved liners in my collection. It still weighs 4.2g, but I don’t think that’s going change again now it’s so small.
Tarte H2o Gloss Lip Gloss “Hang Ten” Mini - £6.66
No windowing yet in this baby lip gloss, but when I hold it up to the light and look inside there’s hardly anything coating the sides of the tube. There was only ever 1ml of product to begin with, so surely it can’t be long until I start to see some visible progress. It weighs 11.4g, so I’ve used 0.1g this month.
Goals For Next Month
Could I have three empties by this time next month? Maybe. I’d like to get this project down to ten items just for my on brain lol, so rolling two new in next update would be cool. As always, progress is progress.
