My 2022 Rolling Project Pan - December Update

This my last update before the final and things are starting to get exciting! Will I have accomplished everything I set out to this year? No, but so much progress has been made that I’m more than happy. I’m already excited for next year and I can’t wait to show you how it’s going!

Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued

Really impressed with my progress this month. There was a time when this brow pencil felt never ending, and at some points this year I thought it would have gone off before getting even slightly close to the end; and look at it now. I feel like we’re reaching finishing line, and maybe not by the end of this year, but definitely at the start of 2023, this could be done. For now it weighs 8.6g.

NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued

This will probably be the last big update of the year for this lip liner. During December I’ll be switching over to one of my more festive liners, but hopefully this will still get some use. I’m expecting it to be done in the first few months of 2023, but you never really know. It now weighs 4.2g.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - £12

I am so happy with how this eye pencil is looking now. While I won’t be bringing it along with me into next year’s project, I’m glad I got the use out of it that I have in 2022. Not sure if I will be adding a new eyeliner in next year’s project, but if I do it will definitely be a liquid one. It still weighs 5.2g.

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Contour

This is one product I will be happy not to continue using in the new year; there’s nothing wrong with it, but I have an absolute ton of cream bronzers that I would like to get some use out of before they go off and I’m starting to get a little bored of this one. It will stay in my collection and be used occasionally but no we’re near the level it has. It still weighs 24.6g.

Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist Mini - £8.00

And I’m done! With a month to spare, I have finished my second setting spray this year. Okay, this one was just a mini, but I’m still calling it a fantastic success. I won’t be rolling a new one in this month, but instead going through my collection to see which one I like for next year’s project. It now weighs 20.7g, so I used 3.1g this month!

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95

New tally mark this month and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel with this setting powder. It won’t be done before the end of the year, but 100% the first quarter of 2023, and then I can roll in something new. I’m thinking that will be my e.l.f Halo Glow Setting Powder, but that might change at the time. This powder now weighs 40.4g, so I’ve used 0.9g this month.

e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00

I can’t overstate how much I love this primer. It makes my skin look so hydrated and plump while at the same time prolonging the wear of my makeup and helping it not settle into smile lines too quickly - what more could I want? I don’t know how much longer this will last but I’ll be loving it while it does. It now weighs 40.6g, so I’ve used 1.1g this month.

Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95

There seems to be like a new layer emerging in the middle of this pan of highlighter. I’ll take a better picture for next time, but I think - think I might be getting close to the pan. Who knows, I might finally hit my goal at the start of next year. For now I’m just happy to see some visible changes. It still weighs 6.1g.

E.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder “St Lucia” - £5

It’s still a waiting game with this palette. I know that the pans are close, that it’s possible I could hit one before the years is out and that’s giving me motivation when it feels like a never ending task. Maybe one day I’ll decide to finish this duo completely, but for next year I will definitely be swapping it out! It now weighs 69.3g, so I used 0.2g last month.

NYX Lip Lingerie - French Maid - £7.00

And finally, this liquid lipstick. I’ve decided that won’t be decluttering it at the end of the project; it’s not my favourite, but it’s still completely fine to use and the colour is unique to my collection. It might not make it through to 2024, but I’ll stick with it for now. It now weighs 23.6g, so I used 0.1g this month.

Goals For Next Month

None. I have no big goals or targets in mind for this last month of my project, only to enjoy what I’m using and make mental notes for the products I might want to pan next year. If I happen to hit a pan along the way, I might end up jumping for joy.
