My 2022 Rolling Project Pan - November Update
November, and with only two months left of this project I’m starting to worry about the chances of finishing these products in the time left. Kinda silly really because I can easily roll them over to next year and most probably finish them before spring time. Yes I am already thinking about next year’s project - and I’m definitely mixing things up a bit with the products I’ve chosen so far - any way, let’s start this update!
Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued
No new tally mark this month, but it is looking like next month it will be time for another one. I honestly thought this pencil would start to get more firm with the colder weather, but it’s still very mushy. It still works, but I’m concerned that it might be going off. Hopefully I manage to finish it before that. It still weighs 8.6g.
NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued
Look at that tiny little lip liner! How small is it? As much as I’ve enjoyed using it, I am so ready to be done with this thing! I’m assuming this will be done within the first few months of next year (I’ll be using a red over the festive season), and I will be replacing this with another lip liner. It still weighs 4.3g.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - £12
In the last few months of keeping this pencil in the project, I am just trying to get the most use out of it that I can. It’s amazing how long lasting this eyeliner is, both in how much I’ve used and how it wears on the eyes. I would definitely look into buying other colours in this range if I needed them in the future. It now weighs 5.2g, so I’ve used 0.1g this month.
Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Contour
Another good month with this contour stick (honestly, it’s more of a bronzer), and I am happy to keep using it for the last two months of the project. While this will not be back again next year, it’s been nice to see how much of an item like this I can use in a year (not a lot!) and hopefully it will stop me buying so much in the future. It still weighs 24.6g.
Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist Mini - £8.00
I think this setting spray will be done by the next update, or at least almost. It’s a perfectly good setting spray and the nozzle is still holding up fine, but I will be glad to finish it. It now weighs 23.8g, so I’ve used 4.4g this month.
Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95
I swear this powder feels like it’s slowing down. I use it all the time, and yet the tally marks seem to be hardly moving. It won’t be done by the end of the project (that’s pretty obvious now), but I’m guessing the first few months of 2023. The next powder I’m lining up is only half the size of this one, so I could feasibly have two empties next year. It now weighs 41.3g, so I’ve used 1.3g this month.
e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00
I’ve grown to really appreciate this primer over the past few months. It’s not heavy, prolongs the wear of my base and doesn’t break me out - what more could I possibly want? I might even be a little bit sad when it’s gone. It now weighs 41.7g, so I’ve used 1.6g this month.
Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95
Still no pan, but I won’t let that stop me feeling a sense of achievement. To have used a highlighter this much is a big deal for me, and it’s only going to get better. The dip is getting really pronounced and I am convinced it won’t be too long before we see a little baby pan. Unfortunately, it still weighs 6.1g.
E.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder “St Lucia” - £5
I don’t know how much further these pans goes down, but I’m still not sure how near the bottom I am. If you’d have asked me a few months ago if I’d have hit pan by now, I would have confidently said yes; but I’m slowly learning just how unpredictable panning is. The thing I thought I would have no trouble with have been stubborn, where as I’ve flew through others. As there’s still two full months to go before giving up on this palette, so I could perhaps hit pan in one of the shades. It still weighs 69.3g.
NYX Lip Lingerie - French Maid - £7.00
Okay, I’m ready to admit that I’m getting bored of this liquid lipstick. It’s perfectly fine and works well as a liquid blush, but I will be glad when the year is over and I can roll this puppy out. I’m not sure if I’ll reach my goal of using a 1/4 of the product, but it hopefully won’t be far off. Unfortunately, it still weighs 23.7g.
Goals For Next Month:
I would love to finish the setting spray before next time, maybe even get near to the end of the lip liner, but I’m not going to get too excited about anything just yet. There’s still two months left of the project and literally anything could happen.
