My Rolling Project Pan - October 2022 Update
Using these products over the whole of September, I felt like I was starting to really see some movement with a few of the items. While I don’t think I will reach the lofty goals I set myself at the start of the year, some easier ones could still be reached.
Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued
I’m not sure how much of the use this month comes from “actual use” and how much is just where it’s slowly squishing together. As ugly as it looks, it still works fine and I am happy to keep using it until it’s done. It still weighs 8.6g.
NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued
Okay, seriously, the progress on this lip liner is giving me hope. Probably won’t be finished by the end of the year, but I’m going to put it out there, it will be done by my February update. It still weighs 4.3g.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - £12
The pencil has been sharpened again and I’ve finally been able to make a new tally mark. I’ve now reached the first bit of golden writing on the pencil, so I feel that is a small achievement. It will probably be sharpened a few times more before this project ends so we might see a lot more progress. It still weighs 5.3g.
Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Contour
If this contour and higher duo is available in your shade, I would say it’s great value. The amount of times I’ve used this stick contour for it to look so hardly use, I can imagine it would take months of daily use just to be halfway done. It’s hard to see progress with these sticks, so I took a picture of it next to the highlighter from the set so you can see how much more this has been used (I’ll post that below). It still weighs 24.6g.
Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist Mini - £8.00
I’m confident this will be finished in the next two months. This will be my second setting spray used up in this project and Seen as I have another twenty(!!!!) in my stash, I’m happy about that. It now weighs 28.2g, so I’ve used 4.7g this month.
Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95
Another good month with this powder, although it wasn’t enough to make a new tally mark. I genuinely thought I would be closer to the end by now, but this product just keeps surprising me, it is such good value for money and part of me thinks I might buy it again once I’ve worked through a significant amount of my stash. It now weighs 42.6g, so I’ve used 0.9g this month.
e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00
I feel like the only thing that’s really changed between these two pictures is my nails, but actually my stats show I’m doing pretty well. It now weighs 43.3g, so I’ve used 1.4g this month. That means I’ve nearly used a third of the product already!
Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95
This is starting to look like one of those hollow face illusions you see in the haunted mansion where it looks like it’s jutting out of pan when really it’s dipping inwards. No big changes this month, but with consistent use, I know that pan can’t be too far away. Unfortunately, it still weighs 6.1g.
E.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder “St Lucia” - £5
And the saga continues. With only three months of use left in this project pan, I’m really starting to doubt that I’ll hit pan on either of these powders but with a bit more continuous use, I’m hoping it does happen. It now weighs 69.5g, so I’ve used 0.1g this month.
NYX Lip Lingerie - French Maid - £7.00
The window is getting bigger on this liquid Lipstick and I am living for it! There is nothing more motivating on this project pan journey than seeing visible progress on some of the seemingly never ending products. It now weighs 23.7g, so I used 0.1g this month.
Goals For Next Month:
As always, the goal is to hit pan on one of the powders (I don’t hold out much hope), and maybe finish the setting spray, but I’ll take any progress if it feels like a couple of these can be finished by the end of the year.
