My 2022 Rolling Project Pan - September Update

It’s September, and there are now only three more project pan updates before the end of the year. Time is really flying by, but so are my products, and I am starting to see the finish line in sight; hopefully I might even finish a few before the year is out.

Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued

This brow pencil is slowly turning to mush. I may end up putting it in the freezer for half an hour to see if it helps, but I’m still happy with the progress I’ve made. When I think back to where this brow styler was when we started, I can’t help but be proud. It’s looking unlikely that it will be finished by the end of the year, but maybe in the first quarter of 2023. It still weighs 8.6g, which is kind of frustrating.

NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued

This lip liner is another product I’m happy with the progress on. While I never want to be overly confident, I do think it is possible to finish this by the end of the year, although that might be scuppered by a month off in December, I’m not sure. It still weighs 4.3g.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - £12

Another good month with this pencil, although I didn’t get to make another tally mark. I’m sure things will look a lot more interesting next month when it’s sharpened again. Unfortunately, it still weighs the same as last month at 5.3g.

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Contour

I still don’t believe that the tally marks for this contour stick are entirely accurate. While the paper says I’ve used a fair amount, I think it looks absolutely the same. Either way, it’s still working well, and I’m using it all the time. It still weighs 24.6g.

Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist Mini - £8.00

Another good month with this setting spray, and I am comfortably on my way to finishing it by the end of the year. The spray is still working, which I’m super happy about, and hopefully, that lasts until the end. It now weighs 32.9g, so I have used 5.2g this month.

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95

The new tally mark I made on this powder looks a bit low in the picture, but I swear, in real life, it’s accurate. It’s looking less and less likely that this will be completely done by the end of the year, but I’m going to keep pushing on, and hopefully, I can add a new powder or two next year. It now weighs 43.5g, so I’ve used 1.4g this month.

e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00

I’m glad the progress is finally starting to become visible. I’ve worked out that about one and a half pumps of this is enough for a full face, so I do feel like I’m using a good amount of this every month. Not a chance of this being done by the end of December, but maybe halfway? It now weighs 44.7g, so I’ve used 1.6g this month.

Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95

I really do think that I’m getting close to pan on this highlighter. There’s a significant dip in the middle, and the weight is constantly going down; I can only guess it will happen in the next few months. If it doesn’t, I will definitely be keeping it in the project until next year because I’m stubborn and determined to see the pan on this highlighter. It still weighs 6.1g.

E.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder “St Lucia” - £5

And the saga of the never-ending bronzer/blusher continues. I’m not yet at the point of hating this duo, but I will be swapping this out at the end of the year - I’m thinking a single bronzer instead, so I can rotate through my ridiculously big blusher collection. The compact will still get some love, but not as much as this year. It now weighs 69.6g, so I used 0.1g this month.

NYX Lip Lingerie - French Maid - £7.00

And finally, this liquid lipstick. Do I love? No, but it is a good colour for a liquid blush, and I do still occasionally wear it as a lipstick if I think it goes with my eye look. While it’s something I wouldn’t buy again, I’m glad it’s getting a lot of use now. It now weighs 23.8g, so I used 0.2g last month.

Goals From Next Month:

No big goals this time, just lots of steady progress. As always, it would be great if I unexpectedly hit pan, but I have no faith that’s going to happen. Realistically, I’d like to sharpen the eyeliner, make another big dent in the setting spray, and maybe have that lip liner looking even closer to being done.
