My 2022 Rolling Project Pan - February Update

I can’t believe it’s already been a month since my introduction to my 2022 Project Pan! I’m warning you now, this February update is not going to be the most interesting - progress is slow, but I do think this will be the first indication of what I’ll definitely use up and others that are maybe going to be more of a challenge. My pictures on this post aren’t the best, but the quality will hopefully improve now I’ve got a better set-up.

Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown Project Pan

Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued

Biggest news about this brow pencil is that I broke it. Stupid me, wound it up to see how much I’ve used and snapped it. It’s still perfectly usable, but might become a bit trickier when I get down to the break. It now weighs 8.7g, so this month I used 0.2g. Not mind-blowing, but I’m on track to finish it this year.

NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Project Pan February 2022

NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued

I used this lip liner every time I wore makeup, and I think the results speak for themselves. The picture makes it look slightly below the new line, but that’s just my fault for taking it at the wrong angle. I’ve really been enjoying using this and have no problem using it more over the coming months. It now weighs 4.5g - exactly the same as last time! It only weighs 0.31g, to begin with, so I shouldn’t expect too much.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - Project Pan February 2022

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - £12

I do actually love this pencil; It goes on easily, doesn’t smudge or transfer and lasts all day - it also applies really well with a flat brush. Not massive progress, but I think it’s nearly ready to be sharpened, so it might be a more impressive next update. It now weighs 5.6g, so this month I used 0.3g.

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - Contour Project Pan February 2022

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Contour

I severely overestimated how much I would use of this in a month! This product is actually very solid, and a little goes a long way, but I think the domed shape is starting to flatten out. The angle of the picture is once again slightly different, but I promise the lines are accurate. It still weighs 25.3g - no improvement on last month, but we keep going.

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - Highlighter Project Pan February 2022

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Highlighter

I don’t understand the point of this product - it’s neither a highlighter nor a concealer, but somehow manages to be the worst of both. I’ll keep using it, mainly because I want my money’s worth, but I wouldn’t buy again. It still weighs 25.1g, and probably will next time, lol.

The Body Shop Makeup Setting Spray - Project Pan February 2022

The Body Shop Makeup Setting Spray - £8

My proudest achievement this month is this setting spray (I used a sharpie to mark it more clearly!). I seem to be flying through this, and could quite possibly have this done by April or May. It now weighs 38.7g, so I have used 7.6g this month.

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - Project Pan February 2022

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95

Decided to make a Sharpie mark on the back of this powder, so hopefully, we can see the progress in the future. I used it a lot this month and still have no complaints; it’s just a good solid product that I really recommend. It now weighs 51.5g, so I have used 0.8g this month.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer “Sample Size” - Project Pan February 2022

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer “Sample Size” - Worth Around £2.75

Quite honestly thought I’d be further along with this by now, but at least it looks like it will be finished in the next few months. It does seem to grip my makeup well, and you don’t need much, so it’s the perfect little sample. It now weighs 11.6g, so I have used 1.1g - more than it looks!

Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95

The highlighter doesn’t really look any different from last month, just a little bit more of the pattern worn off in the centre. I think this is going to be another long-haul item - I’m not even sure it will be finished by the end of the year. After using it consistently all month, it now weighs 6.4g, meaning I have used 0.2g.

E.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder “St Lucia” - £5

Still a big fan of this little duo, and I’m glad I managed to get a better picture of the grooves developing in the pan. I genuinely think I’m close to hitting pan on the bronzer, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking. It now weighs 70.6g, so I’ve used 0.2g.

The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquid “California Rose” - Discontinued

No new picture of the lipstick, but there’s nothing to see. I’ve used it loads of times as both a lipstick and a liquid blusher, and I still think there’s loads of product in there. I’m thinking of reassessing this after a couple of months and maybe rolling it out when I feel I’ve got enough use. It now weighs 16.3g, so I’ve used 0.1g - at this rate, it will take me forever!

Goals For Next Month

I’m not setting any dramatic targets for my March update, just some steady progress on every item and maybe feel like a few are very close to being finished. At this point, I can only dream of hitting pan in anything!
