My 2022 Rolling Project Pan - March Update

Late as usual, but it’s time once again for an update on my Project Pan. I’ve really been enjoying using all the products this time and I think I’m finally starting to see some real progress on them - I might even be able to roll something new in, in a month or two!

Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued

This pictures showing some nice steady progress. I’ve noticed that I prefer this pencil in the colder months, but find it gets a bit soft as the weather gets warmer - hopefully that means using it will go quicker though. It now weighs 8.6g so this month I have used 0.1g.

NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued

Another item that is really starting to look well used. This lip liner is truly budge proof and lasts really well ever after drinking. If NYX still sold these, I would probably buy more in the future. It now weighs 4.4g so this time I have used 0.1g this month.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil “Black Noir” - £12

The pencil has finally been sharpened! First time I’ve sharpened a makeup pencil in years (I usually use retractable), but 10 minutes in the freezer and it was super easy. All this progress and it still weighs 5.6g - exactly the same as last time! Don’t ask me how that’s happened, it a complete mystery.

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - March Project Pan Update

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Contour

This contour stick is never ending! I must have used this about twenty times now and it still looks like brand new. I think the rounded top is starting to flatten out ever so slightly, but this is still going to take most of the year to use, I can already tell. Good new is it now weighs 25.2g, so I have used up 0.1g this month!

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - Highlight - March Project Pan Update

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Creams - £7.99 - Highlighter

I hate this highlight. It doesn’t look great, takes off my foundation underneath and does nothing for me. I’m honestly just thinking of rolling this product out and taking the number down to ten like I originally planned. Only positive, it now weighs 25g, don’t know how but I used 0.1g last month.

The Body Shop Makeup Setting Spray - March Project Pan Update

The Body Shop Makeup Setting Spray - £8

I am flabbergasted with the amount I’ve used this month. I do this setting spray can break down my eyeshadows, so I’ve been covering my eyes when spraying, otherwise it does an okay job. Won’t be done next month, but May is looking doable. It’s now weighs 29.5g, so this month I’ve used a staggering 9.2g!

Lottie London Ready Set Go Setting Powder - March Project Pan Update

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95

The tally mark has moved a fair way this month, although not really too surprising as I have pretty oily skin and like to use a good amount of powder to set my makeup. With progress like this, I’m pretty confident that I can finish it this year! It now weighs 50.3g, so I have used 1.2g this month.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer - March Project Pan Update

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer “Sample Size” - Worth Around £2.75

This will be done in the next two months!!! One pump of this is all you need for a full face, so I’m not too surprised it’s been slow going. I’m already certain that it won’t be finished in my April update, but May - fingers crossed! It now weighs 10.9g, so I’ve used 0.7g this month.

Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95

I think this looks a bit more used? Maybe… It’s easy to overdo it with this highlighter, so I have to use a light hand, not an excuse, but it is effecting how much I can use each month. I’m starting to realise that panning a highlighter pretty hard work. It now weighs 6.3g, so I have used 0.1g this month.

E.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder “St Lucia” - £5

I was wrong to say that I was close to hitting pan. The grooves underneath are starting to show more and it is looking a lot more loved, so I suppose I should be happy with that. It now weighs 70.6g, so I’ve used 0.2g this month.

The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquid “California Rose” - Discontinued

I’m starting to get bored of this lipstick - there’s nothing wrong with it, but after two months of consistent use I’m ready to try something new. I’m thinking of rolling this out at the end of April and replacing it with a less ambitious lip product (bonus points if we can actually see some visual progress!). It now weighs 16.1g, so I have used 0.2g this month

Goals For Next Month

I have a feeling that a few products will be nearly finished by next check in - the primer and setting spray most likely candidates - if I manage to hit a pan in the meantime, that would be a nice surprise!
