Pan That Palette Challenge – March 2020

It feels like ages since I’ve written one of these challenge posts, and I guess it has been nearly four months, so it’s definitely time for an update!

As always with these things, my progress is slowly coming along – but it’s undeniably not where I wanted to be right now. Like the last few update posts, I will only be featuring products I’ve used over the past months.

Let’s get started!

Revolution Fast Base Concealer - C14

Revolution Fast Base Concealer – C14

Only using this for contouring, I’m really not surprised with the amount I’ve used. Just slightly less than half a centimetre gone, it doesn’t bode well for me finishing this before the end of the year.

Just over half a centimetre gone, I’m still enjoying using this as an eyeshadow base and for carving out around my eyebrows. It breaks up far too much when used on my face and adding powder makes it look cakey. I’m still using Conceal and Define for all other concealing.

Revolution Fast Base Foundation - F1

Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation – F1

Firstly, I should point out that this is the same foundation, it’s just the lighting that has changed.

Once again, good progress has been made and looking back at pictures in Part 1, it’s really motivating to see the change in size. I would love to be done with this product by the start of June, but honestly, who really knows.

The Body shop Face Contouring Palette

The dip in the bronzer shade is steadily getting deeper and I’ve stuck my finger in the highlighter a few times lol. I still really love this palette and find it so easy and convenient for makeup on the go. The blusher looks barely used but is just very, very pigmented.

Sleek Highlighter Palette - Solstice

This palette still looks almost brand new even after literally months of consistent use. There is definitely a dip in the middle of the pan on the two baked shades, unfortunately the cream shade has not been used again.

The quality of these powders is fantastic and you really don’t need to use a lot.

I’m sure this pan is deeper than it first appeared. In the last few updates I was convinced I would have hit pan by now – but here we are, still waiting for that magic moment to happen. Finishing this feels like a long way off, maybe hitting pan is a more achievable goal.

Revolution Opulence Eyeshadow Compact

During the winter months, I’ve been reaching for this eyeshadow palette over the others in this challenge. My love/hate relationship with this palette has once again turned into love. After watching plenty of Charlotte Tilbury videos, I have finally got some inspiration and found a way to make it work.

I’ve been working on the left hand side of the shades, and the pattern is slowly starting to wear down. I’ve also been using the white shade as a highlighter on days when I’m too lazy to root around for the Sleek Palette.

And lastly, my lipgloss. I was really excited looking at this picture compared to last time and the amount I’ve used. Am I expecting this to be finished by my next update? Probably not, but it could definitely be close.

If you would like to read the first three parts of this challenge, you can find them here: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.

Thanks for reading,
