My 2023 Rolling Project Pan - Introduction

It’s 2023! Last year’s project pan was a wild ride for me, with plenty of ups and downs, but it also gave me a real love for using up products in my collection - so I’m doing it again this year! I’ve kept some items in from last time but also swapped some out, focusing more on base products as this is a category I would really like to get down.

Superdrug B. Brow Styler “03 Brown - Discontinued

There is just so little left of this brow pencil that I have to see it through to the end. After coming so far, it’s time to get it out of my collection and on to something new. I have a feeling this could be done within the first three months. We start this project with it weighing 8.6g.

e.l.f Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer - £8.00

I am planning to finish this primer in the coming year. So far, I think I’ve made a pretty good dent in it, but I know I can do even better. It could take a good chunk of the year to get it done, but I’m willing to stick with it. At the moment, it weighs 38.6g.

e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter - Shade 1 - £14.00

I blooming love this product! Glides over my dry skin, doesn’t emphasis my pores and doesn’t break up around oily areas. In all, it is the perfect base product and one I would buy above any other glowing primer or low-coverage foundation in my collection. I love it so much I have no problem using it almost every time I wear makeup. I’ll mostly be mixing it in with my foundation, so it will hopefully start to empty pretty quickly. Its starting weight is 135.3g

Barry M Fresh Face Foundation - £7.99

This has become the only foundation I want to use. The coverage is pretty low, but it looks very, very natural while evening out any redness. Mixed with the e.l.f primer above, it leaves my skin looking pretty perfect, with just a tiny amount of concealer needed in a few problem areas. I’ve already used this plenty, and it appears to be about half full, so it could well be done this year. At the moment, it weighs 32g.

e.l.f Hydrating Camo Concealer - Fair Rose - £6.00

I’ve had this concealer for far too long, and I would love it to be finished, and out of my collection, so it’s in my project pan this year. I do love it, and it’s a perfect shade match for me, but it can look a bit heavy on dryer patches, and I think there are other formulas I like better. It weighs 29.9g.

Uoma By Sharon C Flawless IRL Bronzer “Shady” - £8.50

The second newest product in this project, and I just had to put this in. Purchased on a whim, it was not something I needed to add to my collection, but it’s here now, so I’m going to use it up. There’s only 3g total in this whole pan, and the product itself is pretty sheer, so it may be doable. Its starting weight is 46.4g.

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Setting Powder “True Translucent” - £6.95

I will finish this powder in 2023. I got so close in December that it has to happen soon. It will be a sad moment to see it go, but I will also be pretty happy to have gotten my moneys worth and potentially even get another powder out of my collection before the year ends. Its starting weight is 39g.

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer - £14.99

As I hit pan in my bronzer last year, I thought I’d take on an even bigger challenge this time. This Physicians Formula bronzer is the oldest one in my collection, and as it’s still completely unused, it’s time to give it some love. From what I know about the formula, it’s a lot lighter than my last one, so hopefully, I can use up more of it - but either way, it smells incredible! At the start, it weighs 63.6g.

Ofra Mini Highlighter “Rodeo Drive” - £13.95

Will I hit pan on this highlighter this year? Maybe, hopefully, surely! As soon as there is a good amount of pan in this highlighter, I do intend to move on to something else. I won’t be decluttering it, but I would appreciate giving the others in my collection some love. Its starting weight is 6.1g.

NYX Retractable Lip Liner “Nude” - Discontinued

Another item I’m hoping to wrap up in the next few months. The formula on this is fine, and I would absolutely buy another lip liner in this colour if I felt like I was missing it, but it’s time for this product to be gone. I’m guessing this will be done by March, maybe April. It weighs 4.2g.

Tarte H2o Gloss Lip Gloss “Hang Ten” Mini - £6.66

This is one of the newest items in my collection, having got it as a gift with purchase from a Tarte order. At a third of the size of the full-size product, it only contains 1ml of gloss, that is partly why I’ve chosen it, along with the fact that it goes really well with my current lip liner. I’m hoping that it won’t hang around too long, as I use lip glosses pretty frequently. Its starting weight is 11.6g

Goals For Next Month

There is a small chance that the brow pencil could be done by next month, but more realistically, in my March or April updates, everything else, I am just happy to see a bit of movement on. Over the coming months, I’d like to see at least two or three products being rolled out or finished, but it’s just a waiting game right now.
